Refugee Care

The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) supports immigrants, refugees and mainstream community members to foster understanding, compassion and communication between Oregon’s established communities and newest arrivals.

Refugee Care Collective mobilizes the city of Portland to serve diverse populations of refugees being resettled in the Portland Metro area, in order to empower refugees to rebuild their lives and step more fully into self-sustainability.

The Cupcake Girls provide confidential support to those involved in the sex industry, as well as trauma-informed outreach, intensive case management, holistic resources, and referral services to provide prevention, and aftercare to those affected by sex trafficking.

Homelessness

Since 1949, Portland Rescue Mission has been tirelessly committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness, addiction, and despair in the lives of hurting people in need.

p:ear builds positive relationships with homeless youth through education, art and recreation to affirm personal worth and create more meaningful and healthier lives.

New Avenues for Youth is a nonprofit organization dedicated to work in partnership with the community to prevent youth homelessness and provide young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness with the resources and skills needed to lead healthy, productive lives.

Street Roots is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization in Portland, Oregon, that publishes a weekly alternative newspaper sold by people experiencing homelessness and poverty to earn an income.
